In its 90th year, the LEGO Group asked me to work with its principal archivist to find examples of how sustainability and social responsibility have been important to the company since 1932.

I worked closely with the archivist to identify stories and create a timeline. This included stories that are well-known within LEGO (in the 1930s, the company repurposed wooden yoyos as wheels for toy cars) as well as less familiar stories (in the 1950s, the company set up a community bathhouse).
